IT Risk Management in a Hyper-Connected World

This session has been not been scheduled by the session moderation team. Sorry we couldn't fit it! Please note: In many cases declined simply indicates the speaker has another session that was previously accepted for inclusion.

Organizations struggle with ensuring visibility into and control over risks due to the complexity of IT environments in large organizations. It is a challenge to consistently measure and manage risk while continually assessing the impact of IT risks in disparate areas of the organization. Additionally, Risk Managers need to be able to justify investments in additional controls in business terms.  Doing this effectively is equal parts technology, process and culture; and doing this within the context of overall business risk and performance allows for more effective priority setting and allocation of resources.

In this session, SDG will address risk assessment models and their strengths and weaknesses. The session will also provide insight into how enterprises perceive the challenges related to risk management and how best practices in risk management can help stakeholders establish a robust risk management framework for their organizations.
