S-1517BR

This training class is targeted specifically to content creators and marketers who are either learning to use Drupal, or evaluating it from their stakeholder perspective.

Goals

Upon completing this class, attendees should have the baseline knowledge necessary to confidently communicate their needs to tech teams and explore Drupal as end users.

Format

The class includes lecture, "click along" exercises, and independent hands-on exercises. There is no installation or site building in this class, aside from some block editing and customization of existing content types.

Content

During this half-day class, attendees will be introduced to common Drupal tools like the WYSIWYG editor, Taxonomy system, editorial workflows, and block management. Additionally, the class will look at some of Drupal's contributed modules and popular third-party integrations relating to social media, SEO, content publishing and promotion, email marketing, and analytics.

Additional Notes

There are no prerequisites for this class, but basic exposure to a content management system is helpful. Attendees must provide their own laptop if they wish to participate in exercises (strongly recommended).
