I've been leading teams in open source and communications for over ten years; Throughout my career, I've helped inspire teams of entertainment professionals, support engineers, and technologists. I've also been deep in the trenches, building the technology, providing the support, and contributing my time and effort to open source. I'm passionate about open source and sustainable solutions. Driven by people.
In 2003, I helped an entertainment services provider scale their operation to over 25 cities nationwide by providing hands-on digital experiences for their customers and employees. I personally opened several of those remote locations and implemented systems for the business to help them scale. I also led the local teams in delivering value to their audiences.
In 2007, I was the interactive technology director for the agency representing the New Hampshire's "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" presented by ABC, leading a team of developers and designers to deliver a high scale, high velocity, deadline-oriented set of digital assets for the brand. That same year, I joined the vibrant Drupal community and became a contributor.
In 2009, I joined Acquia as an early employee and helped shape the support and operations team to scale for large Enterprise customers such as Warner Music Group, Disney, Red Hat, and government sponsored organizations. In 2012, I took over as manager of the L1 support team and drove the team to meet strict SLAs through the implementation of a unique scheduling system. I also presented at several DrupalCons during my tenure.
Since leaving the Acquia team in 2012, I have led Blink Reaction's technology strategy and developer team. I've led the initiatives to implement a company-wide collaboration platform, continuous integration, automated testing, and systems to support our new maintenance and managed services organization.
In my spare time, I'm a published playwright and professional singer.
